    Anatomy of a Filicide

Tony Pipitone from WKMG just reported that a search for “foolproof suffication” was performed on the Anthony family computer on June 16, 2008, the day Caylee Anthony died. Jose Baez claims that George did it, but Pipitone says that, according to the timeline, it couldn’t have been him. He was already at work. At the time, Casey’s cell phone was pinging in the immediate area of the house.

Baez wrote about this in his book. He waited for the information to be admitted during the trial, but the procecution never produced it. While it’s true the defense was part of the dicovery process, this was evidence each side had the opportunity to examine. It was not something Baez had to share since the State could have readily concluded the same thing. Unfortunately, OCSO missed it. Had it been introduced, the prosecution would have argued that the death could not have been an accidental drowning and it may have impacted the jury. Sadly, there’s nothing that can be done. Double jeopardy, you know. To most of us, this just adds to what we’ve believed for a long time — that Casey Anthony murdered her daughter and she’s still the most hated woman in America, if not the entire world.

This is a story I wrote and published on March 27, 2009, over three years before the trial. Take from it what you will. Originally, I put a disclaimer at the bottom, calling it a work of fiction. Today, I’m not so sure…

CAUTION! CONTAINS LANGUAGE NOT SUITABLE FOR ALL AGES

    It’s a perfect day for a murder

    Dear Diary,

Last night I had a terrible fight with my mother. I hate her guts. It’s the worst fight we’ve ever had. Sometimes, I can’t decide who I hate the most, her or Dad, but I am so pissed off, I wish she was dead. Him too. Why, oh why, does she think I am a bad person when it is her? She sucks. I want her out of my life. I need to get away from this house and these people forever.

If Tony would only take me away. He must. He’s got to help me. Why do I feel my life is such a mess? If only I didn’t have the brat. She is nothing more than a pain in my ass. Today, I will start my life all over again. With Tony. Or Ricardo. Or… OK, Jesse. If not Jesse… and SHE will never be with us, whoever I’m with. Jesse? If only you didn’t love her so much, we might still be together. Maybe not.

Mom? You think you can take her away from me, but I will never let you. She would make you so happy because she could be the daughter you’ve always wanted. It was never me. You never loved me. What do you think I should do with her? It’s too late. You can’t have her and I don’t want her. I’ve made my mind up and today is it. That little shit will never, ever ruin my life again. She is dead. Screw you all and you will never find out about her. You think I’m crazy, do you? I’ll show you what crazy is all about. You got it. I’ll get even with you. You won’t ever be able to spoil her again.

Dad? Eff you, you weak son of a bitch. You are such a pussy. You let Mom run all over you. I’ve had enough of you and you think you were such a hotshot cop. Oh yeah? You are nothing and you will never figure out what I did with her because I am way smarter than you. You can rot in Hell. Besides, you always loved Lee more than me. You both did.

Lee? Just go on living in your simple little world. God, if you only knew how much I’ve used you over the years, you’d realize just how stupid you are. So’s your girlfriend. Too bad you’re not here to say good bye.

Brat? Today is the day. You will never see me again. Better yet, I will never see you again. Even better still, your grandmother is going to really, really suffer and in the end, I will laugh at you all. Sleep late. I don’t want you seeing Ci Ci before she goes to work. That’s why our door is shut. OK, here, take Mommy’s nanny Zani pill.

I’ve been planning this day for a long time. It didn’t have to be today, but after last night, this is it. It had to come sometime, because I was going nuts. Today, I feel liberated. My mind is made up. What? You wonder why Mommy is in such a good mood? Quick, go see Grandpa Jo Jo before we go. I need to get ready.

OK, Baby, let’s get going. I’ll see you later, Dad. I’ve got some errands to run. C’mon, let’s go. Say good bye to Jo Jo. Tell him you love him. Yes, we’ll see you later. Wave to him as we drive away. Go ahead, Sweetheart.

    12:40 pm

She didn’t really need to go anywhere early that afternoon. She just wanted to get out of that house, away from the pain of the night before, so she drove around, chatting endlessly on her cell phone with her boyfriend, Tony, her ex-boyfriend Jesse, and her then-best friend, Amy, never paying any attention to her daughter. She headed down Chickasaw Trail to Lee Vista Boulevard, where she killed some time, about a half hour, at the shopping plaza; then she took off up Narcoossee to Goldenrod. From there, she headed north to Curry Ford and turned into the Winn Dixie shopping center just to kill more time until her father left and the coast was clear. OK, let’s go home for a minute. Mommy forgot something. It was easy to tell her toddler that they needed to go back home. Besides, the little girl always felt safe and secure in that house. Maybe, she messed her pants and Mom forgot the pull-up diapers and the pack of Nice’n Toddler wipes and that angered her. Oh, Come on. You’re too old for this. Whatever, this was the day she had been planning for a long time. She was starting to feel happy again, something she hadn’t been since before the day her daughter was born. She started the car and drove east on Curry Ford until she turned south on Chickasaw to return to the neighborhood where she grew up.

    3:00 pm

When they got back to the house, they went into the bathroom where she cleaned the little girl and dried her off . Then, she led her into the bedroom. Mommy will be right back.  She went out to the garage to get the duct tape and a couple of trash bags. Then, she walked back in, took the bags into the bedroom and began peeling a swath of tape off the roll. Here, Mommy wants to play a little game. Come on, you little brat. She started to stick the tape around her head, from the left side of her face and far into her hair.

Mommy, what are you doing? the little girl wondered, unable to really speak like an adult and too tired too fight. Mommy, Mommy, Murfurlbalbl… The tape was now wrapped around the toddlers head and Mommy tore it off the roll, making sure it was stuck firmly to her mouth. She picked the small child up, who was lightly kicking and breathing through her nostrils, wimpering like crazy, as if begging for her life, but the pill had begun to take its toll.

Stop kicking, you little shit! Tears of fear were rolling off the little girl’s face as she struggled to free herself, but she was no match for her mother, as slight of build as she was. Finally, the Xanax she had given her earlier kicked in and the precious bundle of joy gave up. She set her daughter down and hurried into the bathroom to grab a bottle from under the sink. She poured the homemade chloroform onto a wad of folded up toilet paper, returned and held it against her daughter’s nose, just to make sure. All of the faith and trust this girl had in her mother was as weak as her now shallow breaths. What was so different this time as her mother picked her up, was how much heavier she seemed. I guess she never knew much about dead weight. Well, she was never as bright as she thought she was.

She carried her out into the back yard and walked up to the above ground swimming pool. The body made a light splash as it was dropped in. She held her under water until the bubbles stopped. It didn’t take long. The child-like breaths that once smelled like a field of fresh flowers on a breezy Spring day were forever silenced. The life she brought into this world was now dead by her own hands. To her, it was the most exhilarating, the most liberating feeling in a long, long time - until she tried to lift the child out of the water. Wow! This kid is heavy. She hadn’t thought about how much the water would log her down. She propped her little body against the edge of the pool, pulling her arms out and over the side. That gave her a chance to go get the pool ladder that would act as leverage as she struggled to pull the girl out of the water.

    anthony-swimming-pool1

One of the things she’s known for is that she doesn’t like to follow directions. She’s never been good at finishing jobs, either. If her mother hadn’t been around to lecture and complain, her bedroom would have been a mess. When she pressed the ladder against the swimming pool, she never attached it firmly. That’s why the ladder was left next to the pool and it explains why she never closed the gate behind her. She never followed up on anything unless someone like her mother was behind her every step of the way and that angered her so.

    3:30 pm

Fortunately for her, the pet dogs were napping when she re-entered the house. Casey always demanded that her parents stay out of her room. They always granted her wish for privacy. She was, after all, an adult woman and she needed her space. She walked into the bedroom, dropped her daughter onto the floor and put her soiled clothes into one of the bags. She dried the body and opened the other bag to put her little girl inside. Then, she pushed her under the bed, grabbed the bag of clothes and walked out of the room, shutting the door firmly behind her. She had to be very careful about making sure the door was properly closed. For one night, her bedroom was to be Caylee’s mausoleum. When she walked out the front door with bag in hand, she took one more brief look inside the house before locking the door. Good bye, she thought. Eff this houseNo more fights. No more naggingI am free, but she knew she had to come back tomorrow. This was enough work for one day.

So glad to see you back here. Do you feel better? I do hope so. This is very disturbing but probably so true. Poor Caylee.

[I feel a little better, Cindy. Thank you. Nothing was as bad as the day before yesterday, so I can only look up.

Yes, this is a disturbing story. My question is simple. Does Baez REALLY believe it was George???]

Hi Dave - I just read Tony's article - WOW! That is about all I can muster up. I did not realize how much the state (or the investigators) dropped the ball. That's a pretty big piece of evidence to not know about - it's a shame. Who knows if this would have determined a different outcome but........

Well, Christmas has come early- I've been wanting to re-read this one for a long while and here it is with a big bow on it! You wrote this so soon into this case, and it's quite amazing that with everything that came up and came out, there is nothing in the way of evidence or statements to contradict your scenario here. You just very ably put yourself in her mindset, given all we knew of her and her hatefulness and family situation at the time, and viola! All major facts beautifully explained (I'd say go ahead and insert the "foolproof suffication" search now- thanks for the highlight, Jose!) and all very, very painfully plausible.

She was just another pathologically selfish too-young Mom who liked to party, dating a guy who specifically didn't want a daughter, who killed her kid to please him and "free" herself from responsibility- a dime a dozen in our culture. Most break down under questioning and take what they can get plea-wise, not this relentless little liar though. She is definitely made of sterner stuff, she'll always have something of her hated mother in her.

And what a plus for her- unlike most too-young murderous Moms she had the pleasure of utterly destroying her parents with her lawyers as accomplices, grimacing away in her adjusted-down seat- poor Little Girl! And allowed to face the jury the whole time, which couldn't see the pin tightening the back of her button-down blouses- Hi, Guys! Don't let them kill me, please! A modern Phryne, whose lawyer in ancient Greece bared her breasts before the judge- how could a woman so lovely have killed anyone? And rewarding them with sighs and smiles and eyelash-batting. I've come to think the whole justice thing was lost right there, with the decision to have her and her back-rubbing, coddling, stroking "team" face the jury, instead of seating them in the traditional manner- No, Sweetie, we won't let them kill you, no matter how illogical any other possibility is, no matter how badly that car trunk stank or how much chloroform was in there, or the pathos of that Pooh blanket, obtained straight from Caylee's bedroom.

Thank you, Dave- and we really have to thank Jose, too, that he can't keep himself from scoring a point or two, even now.

Oh, and on Jose and sacrificing George- of course not! But personal antipathy goes a long way for some people...

It's just something he tells himself- it's only a fly as he pulls off the wings.

there is a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes, I just cant forget the image of her last breath as I know what it is like to feel shortness of breath. My mother died of CHF which causes the same symptoms. How cruel how sad and yet she walks among us as if nothing ever happened. We have the 12 pinellas pineheads to thank for that. I hope they think of this child every night before they drift off to sleep. I hate them as much as I hate the killer and her mom... a curse be on them all

That's one scary story, but it sounds just like Casey. I have no doubt she will someday pay for what she's done if not in this world then when she meets the final judge.

I don't believe she is really free, as we know freedom. I don't believe she will ever own what she did to Cayle so to all intents and purposes her life is doomed to be wasted. She has done nothing to get an education or prepare her for any employment,so she will never make a worthwhile contribution to society. She will never know the love of a really decent man or have a family and friends of truly loving people.

She is a liar of the first order, she learned to lie very early in life and she is a product of George and CIndy, but she is an adult and responsible for her own life of lies.

If abuse and a lousy upbringing are an excuse I should have been a serial killer.

I've very glad you are feeling better and continue to remember you in prayer.

    Dave -

Thank you so for reposting this - in light of what Tony Pipitone discovered! We all knew that Casey killed her - and Shirley Plesea, Cindy's Mom, nailed it: Casey hated Cindy more than she loved Caylee!

ANd I know that both the OCSO folks and the Proseution wanted to nail her ....but they tried to oversimplify how bad a mother Casey was and put too much on the science that couldn't point out to the 12 village idiots precisely how the murder was done. And then you add in the Casey's "luck" of OCSO nto being able to find the body, and Cindy and George lying through their teeth..... The perfect storm of factors that led to No Justice for Caylee...

It's in the hands of a Higher Justice now ...and we will have to take comfort in that ....but we all KNOW that Casey did it ....and her freedom is that she is in a permanent jail cell without bars ..of Casey's own making .....She will NEVER be rehabilitated - and will always be hated and rejected by decent society.

Please be well, Dave - and thanks again for all you do and for keeping Caylee on your radar screen!

    Happy Thanksgiving to all!

    To encourage us.

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it...
    to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

    MORAL :
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

    1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.

    2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happens.

    3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.

    4. Give more.

    5. Expect less from people but more from yourself.

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all!

Yes Dave - I think you got the story pretty close to what actually happened. For the first time, I think I actually put the pieces together as to how it all went down after reading this latest piece. I had the facts before, but they were scattered all over the place in my mind.

I believe she got away with murdering her little girl, and Jose managed to put doubt in the minds of many, but with this latest news, there is NO doubt that she did it and I suspect that her life will change for the worst down the road.

Happy Thanksgiving to all, and I hope you're feeling better soon Dave.

Horrible miss by the Prosecution and my first reaction was anger towards the Prosecution. As I thin through this though, that jury had more than ample information to convict Casey but they were lazy.

These jurors were so enamored with Baez, that it is possible that they might have arrived at the same verdict *with* this new information.

Porky, If the jurors followed instructions as the judge reviewed them, and evidence was circumstantial could they have broken the law by bringing a verdict of guilty. I read this question and made me wonder. If the jury does not follow those instructions can they be prosecuted for it. What would happen. The question was based on not being able to determine "exactly" how Caylee died.
For instance if she had been strangled by hands around her neck, could that be proven by scientific determination under the circumstance of the condition of her body? Maybe yes, but then, who's hands? My interest is not trying to say who was guilty or not. I do disagree on continuing to chastise the jury on their decision because as the case was presented, what "legal" choice did they have?

    November 23, 2012 | Unregistered CommenterMO

I do disagree on continuing to chastise the jury on their decision because as the case was presented, what "legal" choice did they have?

    MO
When the jury was sent to deliberate they never asked to see any of the evidence or hear any of the testimony again. I don't understand that,if I had been on the jury I would have wanted to see and smell the liner from her car. I've been on two juries and both times we had some of the evidence brought to the jury room. The smell of that car that both her parents and brother admitted and Dr. G's testimony "there is no reason for a three year old to have duct tape over her mouth" would have been enough for most juries. They were tired of being shut up and wanted to go home so they didn't bother to ask or listen they just let her walk. JMHO of course

    November 23, 2012 | Registered CommenterTommy's Mom

Not here to have argument or disagreement, just wondering where the line is that the jury is either within the law or not. As far as I can determine that has never been discussed without personal opinion because of the pain of this child having been murdered and disposed of like tddrash. Aside from just wanting to understand what would be crossing the line in the "legal" term, what they should have or did not due is not considered in my inquiry. I just don't think my opinion should determine how the law is administered as it stands when something is being decided, whether I like it or not. Does a jury have free will based on emotion and belief, either theirs or public opinion. How tight is the rule. That's all I am considering here. It will probably replay somewhat in the ZG case, except he did admit "shooting" . I think he could have stopped just like one who killed Casey could have stopped. He didn't, she didn't! But what and HOW it is presented to the jury is what it all comes down to. Is that jury to blame for the latest find not being presented? No! Error can come from many different humans, handling or not handling.

    November 24, 2012 | Unregistered CommenterBritt

    Hi, MO!
One thing I'd like to point out is that, due to Floriduh's Sunshine Law, We, the attentive laypeople, actually analyzed this evidence and were certainly way more familiar with the finer points of the case than this jury ever was. The ONLY thing they got to see that we did not (although Dave did, as he attended trial) was the un-pixilated image of the little skull with the tape intact, holding down the hair and keeping the tiny mandible in place.

This is why the outrage at the verdict- we actually really did know WAY MORE, and unlike the jurors, knew the case up, down and sideways. We combed through the statements, compared discrepancies, caught Cindy in lies and prevarications, examined every pixel of the LE images, weighed the merit of George's lying about "River Cruise" vs. his profound grief over Caylee's death and disregarded his lie, as being not really relevant given the pathological super-whoppers pouring out of Casey's mouth (a fake job! A host of fake friends! A fake nanny! A fake kidnapping! A fake ex-boyfriend! A fake agreement to be gifted the family house! An entire FAKE LIFE, in essence). Which with her lawyer's help in time shaped up to a totally fake, patently ridiculous, never fully-explained, with NO evidence at all, LIE explaining this "accidental death".

The tape came from the family garage (no one really thinks JoJo did that), the Pooh blanket came from Caylee's bedroom (no one thinks Cindy did that), but the main thing is that the there had been "a dead body in the d@mn car!"- Casey's car trunk, (no one thinks the dogs did that! And she was the only one in control of the car at the time), as well as chloroform in extremely large amounts. Lee did not do the searches for chloroform on the computer, and neither did the self-sacrificing perjurer, Cindy.

The jury actually had AT LEAST two Causes of Death (and Dave above makes a very plausible case for a third also being utilized, which nicely explains the pool ladder- she never followed through on anything!)- and two (or three!) Causes of Death does not equal NO Cause of Death, which was the peculiar math employed by this jury.

Also, we know one juror had a cruise to go on, one had a house rental in London coming right up, one "couldn't sit in judgement" on anyone else (only for God to do!), and Casey flirted with the young dudes in the group as well, in the opinion of some in the room. They just wanted to get home, already! Presumably they thought no one else cared or was paying much attention (they surely did not- the amount of time they spent "deliberating" was pathetic). This latest bit of evidence would not have made any difference to this group as they had disregarded such a massive pile of other evidence- lay it on, State, we could really care less, just get us home in time for vacation.

So, yeah, we have a problem with the jury. The legal system only works when the innocent go free AND the manifestly guilty are convicted.

    November 24, 2012 | Registered CommenterKaren C.

Given that particular jury at that particular time, I don't think it would have mattered. I think they bought into the "reasonable doubt is named George" theory in principle if not in fact. In the Pipitone article he said Baez was preparing to blame George, because the suffocation and poison was on a website that described suicide and he was the only one suicidal in the house. I think that particular jury just might have believed him.

    November 24, 2012 | Registered Commenterconniefl

Like Dr G said, No one makes an accident look like murder! The fact that this jury believed what Bozo said during opening statment is laughable! This jury was lazy, spoiled and pampered. All they wanted to do was go home period. They did not look at one bit of evidence! They were and are a disgrace to our justice system. They had tons of evidence that pointed to KC as the killer! I could go on and on about this case but i wont. I followed this case from the very beginning, anyone with half a brain could see that this LYING, EVIL WOMAN murdered her daughter! Bozo the wannabe lawyer is a lying psychopath just like his client. I will never get over this verdict! What are the odds of getting 12 idiots at the same time on the same jury? I often think that Baez got to 1 or 2 of the jurors , that is the only thing that makes sense IMO Poor Caylee never had a chance. Caylee couldn't even get justice for her murder thanks to the Pinhead 12. Sorry, but this case still makes my blood boil . Hopefully, karma will come soon to all that helped a killer get away with murder!

I also Blame Judge Perry. He allowed this joke of a defense team to get away with so much in his courtroom! I have never seen such a circus atmosphere in a court of law in my life. Judge Perry, the defense team, and the so called Grandparents of precious little Caylee should all be ashamed of themselves! Greed, money is what motivated the whole lot of them, even this disgraceful jury thought they would get rich off of this disgusting verdict! Everyones luck runs out eventually, and i have a good feeling that 2013 will be a good year for Caylee with all the civil suits against Casey. Praying all the bad deeds that were done behind the scenes with this case will be exposed soon! Dave, I hope you are feeling better real soon. Take care :)

Brandy~~Bravo!! It is like you read my mind. It is great to see comments full of passion. Those Pinellas jurors would have acquitted Casey even if a video had been introduced showing her applying the duct tape. I also fault Judge Perry!!

I think it's pitiful that a jury of 12 could be so insensitive they would come to a verdict so soon without even asking for evidence to be seen or testimony re-read. That tells me they went in there with one aim in mind... to get out quickly. They obviously weren't thinking of a little girl lost, but their own 4th of July lost.

Personally, I think she was driving around all morning and shopping or whatever like Dave said. Where I differ from Dave is that I think by the time she got home it was Caylee's naptime and the little girl didn't want to nap because she'd been cooped up all morning long. She probably wanted to play. She was probably having one whopper of a temper tantrum about going to sleep and/or taking the "medicine" mama had. She probably gave her the meds then duct taped her mouth so she couldn't spit it back out or hear her cry. Then came the plastic bag. She may not have even been gone by the time she was put into the trunk. It just makes me sick.

And now that it's all over, I wouldn't be afraid to bet that Casey and her mother are all comfy again with each other. After all the only one as close to lala land as Casey is her mother Cindy.

Hey, MO, you're very welcome. This was a very unique trial in that we all had the opportunity (if we wanted) to get an almost first-row seat and paw through and consider 'bout everything, by way of evidence. In most cases this doesn't happen of course- we laypeople are excluded generally from viewing every single videotaped interview and analyzing every single microscopic slide from Forensics before most all trials.

When viewed dispassionately, following this case through- from the very beginning as a Missing Child case, the public thrashings-about of the various family members, the discovery of her dessicated remains, the pre-trial hearings (felt like a hundred of those!), the jail-house shenanigans, the distraction of "River Cruz", and finally this massive mess of a trial- well, Good Lord, it was like taking tutorials in a dozen disciplines!

Not just the obvious legal ones either, and there was plenty of that- look at all we learned about what they do at the Body Farm! Mass Spectrometers- I learned way more about those things than I ever thought possible! Or, how to send surreptitious messages in a "secure" jail facility! How to read a topographical map of a swamp! Not to mention Human Psychology- there was Cindy in agony listening to the 911call on the stand, then look at Casey's reactions, that's a textbook in the subject right there- Casey, who never cried one time for her daughter while her mother was obliterated by her death.

From FBI lab protocols to K-9 dog/handler procedures, we wanted to be there, we were engaged, getting something of a credit-free education courtesy the State's case. The jurors were not of the same mindset (not an elective for them! They were mando-ed in some cases) with the head-shaking result we see.

I've always enjoyed reading the posts at this website. They are, with few exceptions, intelligent, thoughtful and provocative. A little girl's life was lost, and I suppose on some level that made all of us crazy. The revelations of the past few days are not really all that surprising ("sufficating", perhaps, but not surprising). Looking back, it is hard to say whether anything would have changed.

I hope everyone will go easy on Judge Perry. I hear the job can be quite difficult.

Reading about this fiasco again makes my heart race and my soul shiver. God, re-living this again. It's almost like I was there.

    Best to Dave and Snoopy,

    SS

    Hi Dave

happy belated turkey day. Sorry to hear you were sick.

Connie - am in full agreement with you. Like every other piece of evidence & witness testimony, the jury would've ignored it and went right on believing the absurd lies of Casey and her attorney.

The only thing that shocked me was I realized that I had been right in the beginning after all. When this story first broke and all of Casey's embarrassing lies came out - the wild goose chase she lead police on, the 31 days without reporting Caylee missing. The fake job, fake nanny, the fake cell phone with phone number to the fake nanny that she left at her fake job, etc.....I knew back then that it was premeditated. After all, CA CA couldn't have any fun with the little pain in the ass she had to tote around all the time. She couldn't be with her latest boy toy unless she got rid of the brat because he didn't really want kids around right?

Shades of Susan Smith. But even Susan wasn't that self-centered or souless. She did eventually admit what she had done. And she really was abused by her stepfather as a young girl while the mom refused to believe her. CA CA was spoiled evil by her parents. She grew up with an entitlement mentality and would stop at nothing to get what momentary satisfaction she wanted at the time. Even if it meant stealing money from her elderly grandmama who lived on SS, or impersonating her own mother so she could write checks or completely clean out the bank accounts of her friends.......She had (still does) the morals of a cockroach and is a complete waste of space and oxygen. Whew! I feel better.

Well.... until I think about that jury that is.... grrrrrhh. I came across some interview videos on YouTube a few weeks ago. Here's this cocky young woman - a juror, being interviewed. She sat in the chair and acted like she knew all about the law. Yet, she believed Baez's account over the states without hearing any proof. She said something like the dad was uncooperative and lied. She said that George was there when it happened.... She also said she worried about the punishment if Casey was convicted. Not supposed to do that - she should've been thinking about the evidence & testimony and ONLY considering guilt or innocense. She acted incredulous when asked why they couldn't convict with all the evidence that was presented at trial. she went round/round with interviewer - how there was no COD and therefore impossible to convict. When he said he heard that during deliberations they never asked to look over any evidence she said no one can say that because they were not there and they did look at evidence, but again there was no difinitive COD. Really? Because I thought all requests for evidence and transcripts had to be recorded? She lied.
The interviewer kept pressing her. She then became kind of condescending and continued her argument about COD. If they couldn't prove that then how could anyone expect them to convict? Huh? What about cases where a defendant is convicted and there isn't even a body? Did those jurors get a difinitive COD? Didn't facts like Caylee being duck taped and stuffed into a plastic garbage bag, thrown away in the woods, while mommy dearest went out and partied, without bothering to report missing daughter, give them even the tinniest clue that regardless of how Caylee died she was not dead by her own hands? How can 12 people be that stupid??? It boggles the reasonable minds of this world.

here's a link. when you get to YouTube there are multiple videos of her and some of the other jurors.

I had somehow missed this post written from the beginning.. I read it with tears and a broken heart that will always carry that beautiful little girl with her smile and big old eyes in my heart. Dave I beleive it could have happened just that way..I always thought she put her in car trunk as soon as she finished killing her, but your way could account for her coming back the next day and backing into the garage. How can she live with herslf? I have never believed that George molested her, because caca loved being the center of attention, and she ruled in that house, and if he had she would have been screaming it from the rooftops. I think George may have tried to control her but cindy made him step back. George just makes me angry for not having a backbone..Your posts never fail to amaze me. Between you and Snoops, I feel I always get the true facts.. Feel Better and keep up Great work..
