My first feature is a 2003 movie titled Saints and Soldiers. It’s set during WWll. I know some of you aren’t into war pictures, but this one is an exceptional piece. It’s historically accurate, the actors are very believable, and it depicts raw humanity - courage and the instinct to survive. It is based on true events.
After surviving a WWII massacre, four American soldiers and one British pilot trapped behind enemy lines must reach the allied armies in time to warn them of an impending German attack. (90 minutes, hulu)
