    Sounds about right.

    February 1, 2012 | Registered CommenterDave Knechel

Dave~ ~ I copied that from WESH.... any discrepencies, take it up with them!

    February 1, 2012 | Registered CommenterSnoopySleuth

I am in awe of how much Americans know about politics. Is it taught in school over there?

    February 1, 2012 | Registered CommenterTiffany

Tiffany~ ~I know little about politics even in my own country of Canada. Actually, I refrain from discussing politics and religion. LOL

Dave, I am about to post a link re Michelle Parker on the latest post you wrote about her. It may just be the break Ynonne has been praying for.

    February 1, 2012 | Registered CommenterSnoopySleuth

Just love that headline...Kudos to whomever thought it up...

    February 1, 2012 | Registered CommenterEstee

No discrepancies, Snoopy. It was correct.

    February 1, 2012 | Registered CommenterDave Knechel

We studied social and political issues in high school, Tiffany, but I've always been interested in this sort of thing. Current affairs and all. It's good to stay on top of things, wouldn't you say?

    February 1, 2012 | Registered CommenterDave Knechel

Snoopy - I just got home and it's 5:10 pm now. No lucky break yet, but I hope so. I was out shopping at Costco and on the way home, I stopped at a convenience store where a young woman disappeared a long time ago. I might want to write something on her after I talk to OCSO about what they know now, which can't be much. With Michelle, I'm guessing the divers haven't finished their job yet.

    February 1, 2012 | Registered CommenterDave Knechel

Thank you, Estee. That was purely my idea. 100%! And I even did the newspaper design in Adobe Illustrator. That's why there's a copyright underneath it.

    February 1, 2012 | Registered CommenterDave Knechel

Dave~ ~ That was your idea? You may end up getting castigated. LOL Oh, I am a push over, I thought the newspaper was published like that.

    February 1, 2012 | Registered CommenterSnoopySleuth

Dave ~~ do you mean the woman that disappeared over ten years ago? I believe the divers finished up and didn't find anything. Michelle's mother was alerted to the search and went out to the site today. The news mentioned LE had a 'credible' tip. Hmmm Yvonne Stewart was just on Vinnie Politan's show... I think they are having more about the search today in the next segment which starts in a couple of minutes.

    February 1, 2012 | Registered CommenterSnoopySleuth

That was my idea, Snoopy, and I'm not worried about being castigated. This is my sense of humor and if people can't take it, they can complain to the Internet Police.

The woman I'm talking about disappeared over 20 years ago, long before cell phones. She was working the graveyard shift at a convenience store.

    February 1, 2012 | Registered CommenterDave Knechel

Dave ~~if you are not worried about being castigated, then it's only you who knows, it would be no great loss to your integrity. LOL

I am so very funny. If you can't take my humor, don't complain to me. , I am the Internet Police. Sgt Snoop, here at your service.

    February 1, 2012 | Registered CommenterSnoopySleuth

My integrity is intact. And it's not castigation I'm afraid of. If some had their way, I would be...
    ...
    ...
    ... let's just say...
    ...
    stripped of my manhood.

I may have to change my screen name to June Cleaver.

    February 1, 2012 | Registered CommenterSnoopySleuth

Tomorrow is Ground Hog's Day. Feb 14th is Valentine's Day. This month has 29 days so it is Leap Year. I don't know if I can stand all the upcoming excitement.

    February 1, 2012 | Registered CommenterSnoopySleuth

Dave ~~I am listening to Nancy Grace and I am always a bit wary of what she says. She had Michelle's father on there and he said the diver's brought up something of interest and are now using side sonar to search more at that lake. Have you heard anything more??

    February 1, 2012 | Registered CommenterSnoopySleuth

Snoopy - From what I heard on the news this evening, and from what WESH and the Orlando Sentinel are reporting on their websites, OPD said they did not find anything of value in the search. If Michelle's father is stating otherwise, perhaps he knows more than we do, but the team is finished diving there. Will boats come in with SONAR? I doubt it. That's not much of a lake to search. I am familiar with it and where it's located if you want to see a map of it.

    February 1, 2012 | Registered CommenterDave Knechel

Dave ~~Nancy pretapes her shows so what I heard may have been old news from earlier today. It was said the lake is only about 3 miles from where the Hummer was found. If Michelle's remains are found in a lake, I can guarantee they are in a container and it is weighted down.

    February 1, 2012 | Registered CommenterSnoopySleuth

That dive team searched the lake, including the bottom. I think it was just something that was seen around the time she disappeared. There's an abandoned nightclub on SOBT that's been closed for years. The lake is almost behind the place. My guess is that a couple of vehicles drove into the lot (the club is set back from the highway) and made a drug deal or something. That area is well known for hookers, pimps and heavy crime. I have no reason to ever venture down there at night. It's hell down there.

I'm following the politics, Dave. I listen to Freedom's Wings on BTR-a conservative libertarian, Diane, hosts the show. Alot of fear out there concerning Obama getting 4 more years...I confess, I'm concerned myself but I also keep in mind that the U.S. is more patriotic than we know. We will always bounce back from bad presidents and even keep the baby when we toss out the bathwater.

Love the title. I would love to be as witty as you. Alas, as a Knechelhead, this grasshopper has much to learn...

I know that NG airs here at 8pm and repeats at 10pm. I think it gets recorded late afternoon from all the "live" shots I've seen on it over the years now (!) like 4 or 5pm. I see they have a lot of "new" pics of Michelle now too. You really have to admire this family- they keep plugging away.

Dave~~if you don't mind, I will post this here as this seems to be where the action is.

In recent weeks Smith has stopped allowing Stewart to see her grandchildren despite a visitation agreement, she said.

Stewart said she worries about what Smith may be telling the children about their mother and her family. He drove the twins to her home in Geneva recently, but then refused to allow Stewart to see them, she said.

The last time Stewart said she saw the twins they were dirty, but otherwise in good health.

Latest search for missing mom Michelle Parker turns up empty

    February 2, 2012 | Registered CommenterSnoopySleuth

Dave ~~I have another one in moderation. It seems they end up there when I post a link...

Karen C, I agree with you that Yvonne Stewart and Michelle's family are classy people and will not give up. Yvonne gets right out and searches herself. My heart goes out to that woman.

We get Nancy here at 9pm and then again at 11pm. I like Vinnie Politan's show the best.

    Hi Dave and Snoopy

I just saw a Bill Shaeffer interview on WFTV.com about Casey and the Zenaida case and there was also another news article somewhere about the Texas Equisearch case. What are the chances that there will be some justice for Casey in either of those Civil Cases?

Sherry - I've never heard of that radio show, but then again, I'm only familiar with Simon's show because I'm not much of a radio kind of guy other than iTunes's version. Well, and Pandora and last.fm. I'll try to find it and listen when I have time.

I'm very glad you like my attempt at humor and wit. I've always loved to do this sort of thing because it's fun and it makes people laugh. When people are happy and content, they don't start fights.

    Thank you, Sherry!

Hi Karen - I didn't watch NG last night, so I didn't see any of the new pictures, but I'm sure I will. Yes, I admire Michelle's family, but what a living hell they are going through. Thanks for letting me know about the new photos.

Snoopy - I have no idea why your comments go into moderation, but I have noticed how Squarespace has a fair amount of technical difficulties. I wish I could do something about it, but for now, all I can do is say I'm sorry. Thanks for the links and other info.

Hi Amber - I think the chances are good in the TES case, but civil law is tricky. I'll get more in-depth as we get closer to the trial dates. One of the interesting things about these types of trials is that every attorney I've talked to about them have mixed opinions, depending on which side of the fence they sit on. Not just that, but some are in favor (or against) one while being against (or for) the other one. There's still the Kronk suit to consider, and with him, his life was REALLY turned upside down.

Thanks! I'll be following these trials closely.

Hi Dave - I just wish they would find a body so the family can at least have a funeral. It is so sad that each day they have to worry about their daughter and also the grandchildren.
The main news up this way was the accident on I 75. Kind of pushed the political news away for a while. They found the 11th body yesterday in the pick-up truck. It was so badly burned they did not reconize it as a body at first.
Don't forget the ballgame on Sat. I hope you can still come-

    February 2, 2012 | Registered CommenterNika1

Sadly, Nika1, that's precisely what LE is looking for, and Michelle's family needs closure. Having met her mother, I can feel her agony and pain.

That was a HORRIBLE accident up your way! II didn't know another victim was found. Yes, it topped the political news, but what a shame.

I'll be there Saturday morning! Don't worry about that. I'm really looking forward to it.
