Bye Bye Baez? NO! Read the motion

A Michigan inmate has asked Judge Perry to have Jose Baez removed from the case.

    CURTIS JACKSON

This morning, April 5, the Orange County Courthouse issued this statement regarding the motion filed yesterday with the Clerk of Courts:

Please see attached Motion (Defendant’s Motion for Withdrawal of Appointed Counsel) in the State vs. Casey Anthony. It is not filed by Casey Anthony.

It is filed by an inmate in Michigan.

He also wrote a letter to Linda Drane Burdick on June 8, 2010.

:-) Now had I really been in Miami Beach, instead of in the bathroom scrubbing grout and drowning in laundry, the view would have been a whole lot better! A balcony on Miami Beach sounds mighty fine, but like you, these days, I just don't have the time..... or the money for that matter! Hotels on the beach don't come cheap. Now I could pitch a tent on Long Key and watch the sun both rise and set, which sounds like a plan. I'll still wave at you though.

You're making me nervous here, Dave! Something's going on with you. Is it a good thing? A simple yes or no will do.

Janet, I hope there's sound in the courtroom tomorrow. Hey, maybe tomorrow we'll hear Ashton and not Baez??? Ha! Fat chance.

    Good night everyone. Sleep tight.

Yes, it is a good thing. For me, anyway.

Feathers.........yeehaw...........wanna make a few predictions? Could it be? Ahhh no, that couldn't be it, not in a million years. Surprise Surprise! Oh to be a fly on the wall .... curiosity killed many a feline..........maybe if we all MEOW in unison...... Will it be good for us too, Davey? We are the little people...... Pretend you are a Christmas gift, Mr Knechel, and unwrap the goodies...

Davey, are you getting a toupee...can you see the little accent over my 'e'? I can see it. We will all hound you until you let us in on your good news.

Dave is going to open up a Waffle House. I'll bet that's it...

LMAO, Snoopy Sleuth! If he opens a Waffle House I expect that we will be able to dine in absolute luxury (corner booth with a view of something other than the parking lot. A beautiful huge oak with delightful squirrels scurrying across its branches would be nice, and a fountain. Yes, there has to be a fountain beneath the oak for all of the birds that nest in the tree.) absolutely free! But of course we'll leave a tip. Are you taking notes, Dave?

I am looking forward to the afternoon court session to see what Jeff Ashton has to say after deposing the mental health experts yesterday. I have no doubt that he is going to want his experts to examine her also.

Hey Dave, I hope you were able to get some rest even though you watched the hearing at home. This has to be so hard on you going to all the hearings with it so close to the trial and of course you do have a life outside all of this drama. When the trial starts it is going to be even longer hours and days. I do not post as much as I use to but since we are getting closer to the trial I will. Since I am back home from our winter vacation I will have more time.

Thank you for your incredible writing and your desire to seek justice for Caylee. That is what we all want; to see that Caylee's short life will not be forgotten.

Get some rest this w/e and look forward to your post on the last two days. It is so nice to be able to watch it again.

I thought that I would share some links and info with all of you while you await Dave's next post. A lot of research and time goes into a 'good' post and Dave's are certainly worth the wait... so in the meantime.. I will try to keep you supplied with something to chew on.... Here you go and I will be back with more...

If you get a minute check this out. MOO, but I don't think Ms. Paul really appreciated what Rob Dick had to say about Miss Anthony. This is same lady that had the 'great' interview with Mr. Baez the other day.

Christi Paul for HLN interviews Rob Dick late this morning

And, I'll just add a link to the Cindy 'activity' that is mentioned at the end.
Cindy and Rob at about 2:17 minutes in.

Ok, I'm on an IV drip because my withdrawals are so bad. This is worse than waiting for ketchup to pour out! I CAN'T WAIT TO READ ABOUT YOUR OBSERVATIONS ABOUT CAYLEE'S CASE.

P.S. Can't wait to hear why you've been gone off and on so much. Is there a new significant other?

    Hi Dave..
I am still surprised by the actions of the defense attys in court..this week about took the cake. I am very disappointed in the presentations of these 'highly regarded' folks, they don't seem to know proper court conduct, resulting in many warnings from HHJP, and quite a bit of fumbling around when arguing positions.

A couple of things struck me, but one in particular every time I hear it.. Mr. Baez referred several times to the idea that most of us have stains in the trunks of our cars. Really?? Wouldn't you love to see him enter evidence that he himself has such a stain in his car? I

I have smelled human decomp, and believe me..though med school is now years (and years!!) in the past, I recall it with a wave of nausea. And why in the world would any educated person declare that decomp material tests positive for DNA. What does decompose mean? There is no remaining DNA..it's gone (or degraded..)

The trial will be interesting. I feel Mr. Mason will do much of the speaking, though Baez does love the camera. The obvious misdirections will be obvious to most on the jury, I hope. And just why does Baez need an assistant to click the button when he nods it's time..then when he clicked it himself in the following hearing, he lost his train of thought every time. I have concerns these folks are media hungry, needy, silly, and..well.. if I ever get a traffic ticket in the Orlando area..I'll steer clear of anyone involved here.

A month to go, and we'll know what the grand plan is, and who will be blamed. What ever happened to "no comment"? I seem to recall many cases where the attorney refused to answer media, or to tip his hand. I feel that most of the comments and interviews were meant to see what excuses may stick..and which need to be rethought.

Sorry so long..can't sleep..hope everyone is well and enjoying Spring!

Hi Dave; Can you tell me how I can get IN SESSIONS? Is that on HLN or a different network?

Secondly, I thought when Cindy got on the stand the other week, she actually helped the Defence. I never thought she was trying to use the Febreeze as a substitute for chloroform. Nor did I see that I LOVE YOU word exchange between Casey to Cindy. It looked to me like sorry Casey but the truth must be heard, even if you want your father to take the blame for your cruel actions. Atleast that was my take on it. Maybe I should take a second look. there is no evidence that she has seen or spoken to her parents so far, unless you can enlighten me on something new. Thanks. Always love your efforts on this case Dave. I also have to go and listen to your radio stint. Was that on Blog Talk radio?
