In my new post, I explain the latest Frye rulings - chloroform and plant root growth. Plus, I explain why this case will never see a plea bargain.

I took a look Dave! Great article! Great read!
I am with you that it still doesn't mean the State has a free ride here. It just isn't looking good for the defense. I am hoping they getting all their eggs in one basket before the frye-ing! The best thing to come out of this is breaking ground for new scientific methods used and used in the courtroom.

@ SnoopySleuth: Thankyou for the wonderful comment. It seems I learned to cherish things in a "not so easy" way. I will never take for granted what I have been offered of each day and for that I am glad to have learned to cherish all things in my life. It's good to be here, It's good to be me.Thanks again Snoopy-S.

Back to Dave and these great articles! It's just like getting to read my favorite book at night! I work during the day, I tend to my chores at home, then I run to my room to read the next article. Your writing really is quite amazing! Keep writing. It seems alot of us can't get enough of it!

Thanks, SageMom. My poor blog is going to start growing weeds. I'll have to do my best to keep that from happening.

Another great article, Dave! I really like the titles you come up with. I don't think Casey will ever go for a plea deal, nor do I think the prosecution will offer her one. It isn't in her to do it. I like that JP is letting things come in and leaving it up to the jury to decide if it has any weight or not. I always look forward to your next article. Keep up the good work!

    Dave,
We'll all still be here waiting for ya. That is one thing I am sure of. Besides, aren't all flowers just weeds anyway? I love a good weed garden now and again!!!!

    Hello...

    April 29, 2011 | Registered CommenterSnoopySleuth

Sage Mom, they say that dandelion greens are delicious. I have never tried them but do enjoy fiddle heads, a Maritime delicacy.

Dave, I noticed a certain blog owner must have had her nose put out of joint. She seems to be deliberately causing confusion for us little people. Not all of us possess college degrees so can't we leave all this scientific mumbo jumbo up to the experts who will testify for the state and defense? None of us will end up on the jury anyway. Keep conversing with us so we can understand and do not let any outside influences wreck your great blog at OM. JMO

    Weeds attract butterflys................

I'm going to have to do some landscaping soon.

Ecossie, are you trying to say that Snoopysleuth is a butterfly in a backwards sort of way? Ahhhh Matey, that is so sweet. What did you think of the Royal Wedding? Will and Kate make a handsome couple.

    April 30, 2011 | Registered CommenterSnoopySleuth

The wildflowers (weeds) along the Florida roadways and in gardens was absolutely beautiful this year and to think we spent money to cultivate these weeds. I think it's so sad that a generation of people have become so cynical and would rather attack people or the post itself rather than debating the content in a well written and civil manner.
The Royal Wedding was so beautiful and I am so happy for this lovely couple. What impressed me the most was how well behaved and polite all the people were.. It was a nice break to see such happiness despite the tragedy throughout the South and World.

I know what you mean about those wildflowers, Nika1. Yes, I agree with you 100% Had that exchange been friendlier, I would have welcomed it. Even so, if you look at my responses, I was not rude. I'm sorry, but that woman came in looking for a showdown and I didn't bite.

I awoke and put the service on, but by then, they were already married. Boy, they sure do know how to do a wedding right.

Nika1, Such a nice comment, It is nice to read some uplifting words. The Royal Wedding was very very well done. The couple are stunning together having a life together that is loving each other and carrying out a love for people. I could have sneaked in, My old hat would have been spectacular all full of holes and frayed feathers. lol I thought the church crermony was great. Common sense prevailed all about. And the queens closeuips, she really has a lovely face.

Dave, I really enjoyed today's radio talk. Smooth, polite, only one hell from Cobra. Discussion was informative and overall interesting variation of opinions.

Yes, New Puppy, it was a very good show. A lot of interaction. I'm glad you were there. Thank you for doing that.

Dave - I didn't mean to apply that you were rude - It was definitely the commenter.I worded it wrong - Sorry

No, Nika1, I didn't mean you!!! I think the way I was treated over there was VERY rude. Not you. I was referring to You Know Who.

    Dave,

Nice digs at Orlando Magazine! I have a question: do you know how long it may take them to impanel a jury? A guesstimate would be nice.

    Rusty B.

Thanks, Rusty. I like those digs, too. Judge Perry thinks it can happen in 5-6 days at the unknown location. I don't think it will happen, but I do believe he will extend the time there if it seems like things are progressing. I would think it would be under two weeks, although the defense did say they would do nothing to hinder it.

A GREAT DAY FOR AMERICA AND THE WORLD!

God arrays our fields with beautiful flowers and we call them weeds.

Dave, you were great on the radio show. Re the joking around by one of the panelists ...it is a turn off when you are trying to discuss a serious case.

I will be so damn glad to hear the end of Valhell. Why give her any more recognition? I see her minions must be drumming her up some business by spreading their wings. Heck, she has her own fan club with all those six commenters at the bab site.

Thank you, Snoopy. I know what you mean, but you know, when the trial starts, I think people will be more serious. No, it's not a laughing matter.

    Hi Dave

Were you on blogtalk radio today? I just looked and couldn't find a broadcast for today.

    Hello Dave & Everyone,

Been so busy the last couple days in RL and been getting caught up.

I've been neglectful in wanting to send out a sweet bouqet of wild flowers to Rusty B. Shackelford for that handy dandy monthly calendar he put together. That little gem is going to be a wonderful resource during the trial, and I appreciate the time and effort it took to do that. Thank you for sharing.

Dave, water off a ducks back. You're doing a great job over at OM, and I sure don't see anything amiss when people offer each other support and praise when it's due.

    IMO.

I wish the Anthony's attorney would have stayed in the court room today when the judge and everyone went into the jury room off camera because we would have been able to hear the motion he filed so that they could stay in the court room. Now JP will probably rule on it without a hearing now. I hope the media doesn't file an appeal for the motion he denied today. I would really hate to see this case be delayed. They can wait til the day of or sign an agreement and know ahead of time. I don't blame JP for being a little upset about having to hear that motion when he has so many other more important things to do, like make his ruling on the last Frye motion regarding the smell in her car.

Dave, I can't wait to get your take on today's hearing.
