A very happy Thanksgiving to you Dave and to all your readers. May this celebration remind us of the importance of appreciating what we do have instead of worrying so much about what we don't. Enjoy the celebration and the long weekend!

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving to you all, (as Snoopy said...belated or otherwise ;) ). It doesn't matter where we lay our heads at night, we should all be able to find something to be thankful for.

Ecossie~~our Thanksgiving is a national holiday here in Canada. Each country is unique and that is why our universe is amazing. Sadly, some third world countries have little to be thankful for. That is when we can open up our hearts and help. Sharing is caring.

    November 24, 2010 | Registered CommenterSnoopySleuth

Though ours here in Canada has come and gone...

I wish all my American friends,
    A Very Happy Thanksgiving Day
    for tomorrow!

    Keeping you's in my thoughts,
and once again, giving "thanks" on
    this, American Thanksgiving Day!

    With Peace & Cheers!

    Hi Dave -
    Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Listen, this is going to probably sound really stupid, but how do I register with your blog? Or do I have to register for any particular reason? Does registering allow me something other, than NOT signing up? And last but not least, I too, keep getting these flip up ads when I try to access the site from my home pc.
My phone, when accessing the interner seems to by-pass that, but my home pc leaves me having to close off windows of adds before your blog actually comes up....Just thought I'd let you kno -

Anyways, I do hope you're having a great day...
Again, I send my warm wishes along with a great big "thanks"!

November 26, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterRita from luxembourg

    Good Morning,
I hope all of my American friends had a wonderful Thanksgiving. All that talk of turkey made me hungry. Leave it to Snoopy to bring up getting goosed. I got quite a chuckle out of that.

I put a prayer request on open forum. All prayers will be greatly appreciated and comforting. I will be at the hospital most of the day and evening but as usual I will be back on probably late tonight. TIA.

    November 26, 2010 | Registered CommenterFrankie

Hi, Rita from Luxembourg! Yup, this was one day that we across the pond really make an effort to eat flavorful food, like you folks in most of the EU do all the time! We had 4 cornish game hens, rubbed and basted tenderly, baking with baby carrots, bliss potatoes, walnut & cranberry corn
bread stuffing in later, soaked in white wine, plus whipped potatoes & a really good cheesecake. Woo-wee, come to think of it- time for lunch!
