Justice Didn’t Take a Holiday
Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 11:08AM
Sitting in court yesterday, I found it ironic and so apropos that the fate of Casey Anthony was delivered into the hands of a jury of her peers on Independence Day. For nearly three years she has been afforded the presumption of innocence while the murder case against her slowly inched through our legal system. She has had the luxury of being ensnared by a judicial system that seeks to ensure a defendant’s right to a fair trial.

Dave,
As I have stated over at Snoopy's place, It has been a pleasure learning from you and all the other wonderful bloggers here at your bungalow. I can't say as I have much to say today. I am so disheartened although when I think of all I have learned from all of you, I know something good came from this tragedy. We all cared about this little girl. I will try and dig deep to find a way to accept this justice system and it is going to be tough. Somehow I think something good will come from this. It has to. It has to for Caylee. It has to for all of us.
I look forward to your return to the bungalow. I believe we are all excited to see what the future holds with your blog and what direction it will take. Anyway it goes, we will be here. Thankyou for all that you have done for all of us. Thankyou Dave Knechel! Life is good. Let us not forget.
