A Velvet Glove on an Iron Fist

The past couple of days in the courtroom have been brutal, especially for the defense. What is Judge Perry to do?

This is a wise post Dave, it should ease the tension of those who are angered and find Baez a scumbag, to know that judge Perry is ready to pounce at any second his leniency is overburdened. I understand what you are saying, and I still feel the defense has a battle they must fight otherwise they would not be defense attorneys. Jeff Ashton is very alert but not at all without his elbowing now and then as a basketball player effort to stop Baez from doing as well as he is with nothing to do with. This last week has become more about the attorneys than about a dead child.

I agree that this trial is an uphill battle, New Puppy, and that the deck is stacked against them, but Jose needs to understand that when Judge Perry publishes an order, that means that Jose must heed it. Yes, absolutely, this is about Caylee, not the attorneys, and if it keeps festering, there's no way Casey could get a fair trial. I have enough faith in the system to keep thinking positively. Caylee will have her justice.
