    Simply Simon & Co.

Simon & Jan Barrett’s ever popular radio show continues on the Internet airwaves today with…

    Casey Anthony - Killer Mother?

Please tune in at 4:00 PM EST.

The usual suspects will be back to discuss the events of this past week. George did what!!!??? Did Cindy abandon her daughter? How is the defense strategy panning out? It was a strange one.

I will be there listening. I hope Cobra doesn't go off on one of his rants. He is really hard to listen to at times.

Dave, you were great today on the radio show today. Denny is a man of few words but when he does say something, it carries a lot of weight. Mannie was great today too and it was nice hearing more from Jan. Sadly, too much time is spent with having to listen to Cobra rant and rave. His goal is not to inform the listeners, it is to get laughs. That is fine in small doses but it is constant and quite a turn off. JMO

I could do with just Dave and Manny having the discussion. Better than fixed opinions. By the way LP with Jeanine Pizzo at the Suburban Drive site. We don't have to worry a bit. LP has it all down from start to finish. Don't miss it. Sorry if I mispelled a name.

Thank you, Snoopy. I had more fun on the show today, too. As for Cobra, yes, he's very opinionated, but I really do like the guy. He's one of a kind. Sure, he comes across as very gruff, but he's got a heart of gold. I understand where you're coming from, but the show would be less rounded out without him.

Hi New Puppy!!! I would really enjoy a one-on-one with Manny, but it will have to wait until I have more time, and by then, the trial will be over and we'll have moved on to something else. It will be quite interesting to see what happens to all of the Casey/Caylee blogs when this trial ends. I, for one, will still be here, so the door will always be open. There will be new stories to tell, and I sure hope you will be here. All of us. We've made some wonderful friendships!

Dave, Cobra doesn't round it out, he makes it bulge. I am an old prude and listen to the show to pick up information. As you STERNLY told me just recently, we should only be interested in the evidence that is put before the jury. Right? You don't like me speculating with the what ifs? How come it is okay for Cobra? Is it because he is of the male gender? Just for that, I still think the date was June 15th.

When this trial is over, we can always discuss ....oops my mind went blank. Oh yes, how does the Canadian justice system compare to the US? How does our Royal Canadian Mounted Police compare with your LEnforcement? Why do you prefer Canadian bacon?

Davey, old man, I shall be around. I still have a little work to do on you. Just call it a few finishing touches. By the time I finish, you will agree the female sex is far superior to the male species.

New Puppy~~you and I still have a little work to do getting YKW hitched up with YKW. She will even have his toothbrush numbered and entered into evidence, His socks will all be mated What more could a man ask for? When they have their nuptials, she can swear him in before he says , "I do".

Dave, great show today! I think you, Denny and Manny along with Simon and Jan make it a great show. Cobra is okay as long as he doesn't go on one of his long winded rants. When he goes on his rants he doesn't make any sense. I hope once this trial is over that we will all still be here talking about another case or something else that you are writing about. We have formed some really good friendships and it would be a shame for those to fall by the way side just because this case ended.

Mary Jo~~I would never be satisfied with following another case unless it was in Florida. The Sunshine Law makes so much available to us armchair detectives. I have learned so much about the laws from this case alone. Dave and I have taught each other a lot since I joined him in Dec/08. There were many times we hooked horns but it was all part of the learning experience and I hope we are both better for it.

If Casey goes free, we can cover the riots in Olando. Let's see, Zenaida Gonzales vs Casey Anthony's trial comes up in Civil Court in September. Wouldn't it be interesting if Judge Strickland was on the bench for that one. Even after the trial is over, there will be lingeing stories to follow re the Anthony's and some of the players in this case.

Snoopy, we got spoiled with the Florida Sunshine law. There will be more stories with this family before it is all said and done. I think that we have all learned a lot from each other. Part of learning is hooking horns or disagreeing with others. I know that I will be grateful for all the friendships that I have formed with all of you. I don't foresee us not ever having nothing to talk about.
