Attorney: Finding Casey Anthony jury in Pinellas "bad choice" By: Jeff Butera/Posted 10:59 PM, Last Updateded 22 minutes ago Quote "I think it's a bad choice," Trevena said Sunday night. "I don't see any benefit in that short of a distance from the Orlando area to the Tampa Bay area. I think everyone here is equally familiar with the case as they are in the Orlando area. To me, it seems silly." End of quote.
Get to bed Mr Knechel. You need some beauty sleep for tomorrow. I cannot discuss the counties because I do not know your state that well. It looks like you did a lot of research of the counties. Nite nite
Dave, I don't see your new post listed in the sidebar at OM. I did see it earlier with 0 comments and clicked on it and read it... I have to click on your pic in here or at the Relay station to get to the new post at OM.
Pinellas is as good as any. I think they would have done better with Pensacola.. Escambia?. It seems they didn't want to go far probably due to the cost of fuel nowdays and Judge Perry if nothing is thrifty when it comes to expenses.
Take it easy today, drive safely, don't forget your meds and cash for lunch. We'll all be waiting here for your take on the process when you get back.
I plugged Clearwater Hotels into a search engine and found they do have 14 hotels for around 50. Don't know how good they are but so far it sounds like tha place!
Dave...Absolutely confirmed...Pinellas it is...Right down the road from me...Got to run to see the Media Circus and expected protesters...Thanks for the great job you've been doing...You never cease to inform and entertain me....
FYI...There are scads of hotels within 1-3 miles from the courthouse...the less expensive of which are located on US19...Of course there is the Radison, Embassy Suites, Quality Inn and a few others near the St. Pete Clearwater Airport...I believe they're located on Ulmerton Rd....Pleanty of housing for the Media and anyone else that wants to gawk...
Thank you for all of this information, Estee. You are a wonderful person. I wonder if I should go over there...?
Dave, thanks for this article. You did a great job on it and breaking down the different counties and why they wouldn't have been chosen. It is nice that you do your homework and go in depth for all of us. It is appreciated! I don't think they will have a problem getting a jury from here. I am glad that this was kept quiet until it was so that area didn't get saturated. I am glad to see that Tru TV is covering the jury selection as well as the media stations online.
Dave, I think it would be nice if you could fit it into your schedule this week to go to Clearwater for one day of the jury selection. I would really love to hear what you would have to say about the atmosphere in the court room, etc. I know this is going to be a busy week for you getting ready for the start of the trial in Orlando next week.
