HELP FIND FRANCO GARCIA!
Friday, March 2, 2012 at 8:05PM UPDATE April 12: Sadly, Franco’s body was found today in the reservoir between the bar, Mary Ann’s, where Garcia was last seen, and the Boston College campus, where he had planned to stay in a friend’s dorm the night he disappeared.
Franco is a student at Boston College. So is Bruce Springsteen’s son. Some of Franco’s friends got in touch with his son and this is what Bruce put up:

Franco is 21 years old, 5’9”, approximately 200 lbs, and was last seen wearing a long-sleeved white and blue striped shirt with jeans on February 22, 2012, around 12:15 am at Mary Ann’s Bar in Brighton, MA. There is nothing more worrisome for a parent than to not know where his or her child is, especially in the early college years when the young adult may be facing challenges he or she is ill-equipped to manage alone, but may feel "I am all grown up now and I have to do this..." My prayers go out to the family and friends of Mr. Garcia and I am intending he is safely found, perhaps he was injured and hospitalized without proper ID? Thank you, Dave, for bringing this to the forefront of our prayer concerns.
It's the least I could do for Franco's parents, Luzmila and Jose Garcia. They are a hard working, close-knit family, with a younger son and daughter. They are beside themselves. Thanks, Sandy. They need our prayers.
I am one of many, many volunteers helping the Garcias in their effort to bring Franco home. I'd like to add that there is more information, ways to help with the search, and a link to an online donation option at findfranco.com. The Garcias, like most of us, do not like asking for help, so I am asking on their behalf.
Thank you for posting this. Please, everyone, continue to spread the word about Franco. We want him home.

So sad. His family and friends have my prayers. It sounds awful to say but I am glad he has been found and his parents can have closure.
