“Once upon a time…” No, I can’t begin this story that way since it could never end with, “… and they lived happily ever after.”

Dave,
Good choice for the future blogs. I will never forget Caylee and the injustice she was dealt both alive and dead. i just got back from Orlando and the circus it was around the courthouse. I was amazed when I saw what you had to go through everyday just to get to the courthouse. I will for sure be back here with you no matter what you blog about in the future.
Deb
Thank you, Deb. I've got a few ideas up my sleeve, but first, a mini-vacation!
It's sad how much George and Cindy have lost throughout this whole saga. I am wondering if Casey refuses to see her parents because she can't face them after all the lies. Is her hate so intense she not only wanted to keep Caylee away from them, but now herself? It seems to me she is punishing them for loving Caylee so much, even more than her. It must be hard on them to realize Casey's true nature. I can not help but think after all the drama is over and things settle down Casey will destroy herself in some way. I am a firm believer that a persons conscience will wreck havoc upon them if they try and deny a truth they know exists no matter how well they think they can hide it.
I see drug abuse, alcohol abuse, or some other form of self destruction in Casey's future. I know this is bad to say, but I have decided every person who celebrates with Casey when she is released will be doing her a favor by buying her shots and making sure she celebrates until she passes out. Enough celebrating and she will be a full fledged drug or alcohol abuser and we all know they live in their own self-made hell. So I say, let her party it up with Baez, Mason, and all the others who will be waiting with that bottle of champagne and shots. She will also learn after enough mind-numbing drugs and alcohol she won't have to think about Caylee and what she has done anymore. I predict she will destroy herself, we can just sit back and watch it slowly while we are remembering what she did.
The saga isn't over, it's just really beginning for Casey and it's guaranteed to be a low slow desent into hell. The jury may have came in with a not guilty verdict, but her conscience will never read not guilty. She is doomed whether she is free or behind bars. That gives me a feeling of satisifaction.
I think Casey is just cold-hearted and selfish. She only cares about herself. I think George is over her, but Cindy will never relinquish the love a mother feels for her child. Yes, it's very sad, but they are truly better off without her. Casey lost her soul years ago. She will never be accepted by the public. She will never fit in. I hope she lives a miserable existence. She entered the realm of Hell the moment her daughter stopped breathing.
Dave - thank you for all of your hard work throughout this crazy circus. I have been a "lurker" on your site for probably a year but then just had to join at one point to put my two cents in LOL! Thank you for accepting me in and giving us all a place to vent - reading your take on things always made me calm and made me think - I was thinking I was surely going to see justice here - since we all know now that it didn't happen - thank you for keeping us calm through the ending of this saga. I appreciate all that you do and I will surely follow on! Thanks, Lisa
Hi Lisa - I'm going to do some minor tweaking on the blog, but it will remain a place to discuss anything and everything. You will always be welcome here, so I need and appreciate your feedback. No, there was no justice for Caylee, but her mother will carry a scarlet letter around her neck for the rest of her life. Thanks, Lisa. You are very kind.
debwagstongue, Thank You. I also believe casey will self-destruct however reading your words has helped ease the tension I have felt over this verdict and case.
I still feel bad for the professionals in all branches in Orange Co. that worked so hard and honestly for this outcome. Possibly their reward will be in the next case with the right outcome.
