Great video, Dave! Is Aphrodite Jones going to be writing a book regarding this case? I am surprised that after 3 years a lot of the growth has not grown back to what it once was or close to what it was. I am sure that Aphrodite appreciated you taking her to Suburban Drive and showing her where Caylee's remains were found. Did you take her by the Anthony home too? I am glad that you were given the opportunity to meet so many great people that have welcomed you and you are able to share your knowledge of this case with.

I posted this at WP as Mainstream fair so thought it should go here too....

Dave, thank you so much for sharing this. Aphrodite is such a beautiful person. She was some brave to venture in those woods with just sandals on her feet. The innocence of youth! What a great way to end your videos of Suburban. We are so grateful for all the videos that you made for your contributors. Through your eyes, everything became very real as we travelled along with you. You went out of your way to even video that old house on Brackenwood, Amscot, Lee’s Residence, Walmart’s automatic doors, just to name a few,

I thought it was so cute for Aphrodite to gather up her treasure before leaving, a piece of moss, bugs and all. LOL Thanks again, Dave. You are a treasure too!

Ohhhhhh New Puppy... this one is a real cutie but alas, I noticed her left hand. We may to find out more about 'You Know Who'. Did you ever get a peek at her left hand? Cupid must shoot his arrow before this trial is over so let's get busy.

Dave, Aphrodite Jones should be more careful of the "snake" in them woods! lol. I notice you made the comment similar to "she came in through here and over to there" It surprises me that she could have parked her car and unloaded Caylee, carrying her down to that tree and coming back out, and no trace (presented) of any of that growth was found to be on her or her clothes OR in her car. Surely there would have been traces of the particular growth she would have come in contact with and transported it into her car, even as a dust. Of course, I do not know if her car was tested for such. More than that, it is amazing that no one passed by to witness someone out in that area dumping something. I know there has been discussion about entry from other directions which apparently did not hold up, etc. It really surprised me that there was nothing presented by the state regarding Casey having been the one to have disposed of Caylee's body. I say that because the state presented their case to be that absolutely nobody else was involved with Casey having murdered and made the disposal of Caylee's body. If they can't connect her with the disposal, how can they prove Casey duck taped Caylee, with no evidense of fingerprints, and all that stuff. No match on the heart sticker so many of public interest hung their hat on. Maybe some see it as a problem I have but if the state wins this case, I really want them to WIN it by covering the whole scenario. Can they get further into the whole scenario at the end. I don't think they can if not addressed before hand. Anyway, you had a fine afternoon, thank you for all the other videos throughout the past long period preceding this trial, which you have so generously provided us.

I made two comments, where did they go. If they are waiting, I doubt I could make them again as I did, so I hope they are just sitting around while Dave is out.

I'm sorry but I thought Aphrodite wasn't listening to you one bit. You know the area inside out, along with the evidence, but she wanted to make up her own scenario. And venturing into a known snake area, with or without sandals, is beyond "innocent youth".....she's a tad long in the tooth for that label.

She should really check out those earlier videos of yours- also to get a sense of how things were with water down there. It's interesting that each tree there has certain individual characteristics that can help ID them.

I think Casey just heaved-ho Caylee in her bag as far and high as she could, not "placing" her at all. She plopped into the weeds, more-or-less near that tree, pretty much covered over by water soon enough.

Thank you, Dave, for sharing you trip with AJ.

I now can see how a trash bag could go unnoticed with the thicket of foliage.

All those "code" conversations by KC to Lee etc saying "I feel she is close" becomes more meaningful.

I am sure many people will be grateful to not ever again hear about Hopespring and Suburban Dr.

Has anyone spotted the snake yet? Right after you see Dave's hand and his watch, stop the video at 2:24...look down on the ground where there about 8 tall thin plants...you can see it wiggle out...it is a brown snake... I spotted it last night.. Aphrodite is some lucky she never got her toe bit off. Dave must have almost stepped on it.

Let me know if you can spot it....

Snoopy, If you read my comment above, yes there is a snake!!!

    June 16, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterNew Puppy

    Thanks for another video Dave.

Snoopy, Your eyes must be way better than mine. I looked about six times and could not see the brown snake. I tried!.

It doesnt matter how thick the brush, it doesnt take away from the fact that Law Enforcement
did NOT do their jobs...What an embarrassment.

Your videos are getting much better. Excellent job Dave.

It's just heartbreaking for me to think that someone could have sat in the courtroom and viewed all the crime scene photos and still not realized why casual passers-by couldn't see the remains at a glance.

I hope the members of the jury paid more attention.

Even after staring at the snap-shots, I could barely make out the entrance to the path--but a girl from the 'hood could, I'd bet. Just sayin'

I'm not sure if this would be applicable to Florida; however, someone explained to me that once the top soil has been removed from the land, it takes it about seven years to recover. I'm just guessing but I think that is what we are seeing here. I hope they wouldn't spray Agent Orange in a school zone!

The top soil was removed by law enforcement who worked relentlessly in the pooring rain--down on their hands and knees--sifting soil; searching for each tiny bone of 34 month old Caylee Marie Anthony.

At the end, only a few were missing--I salute them.

Snoop: I looked and looked and I can't make out the snake. First I tried with two eyes, then I tried my left eye; then I tried my right eye; then I tried several different tilts of my head--nothing worked. ಠ◡ಠ

It made me think of Roy Kronk, though. Some people are gifted with the abilty to distinguish things more quickly than others. Not to mention he was a former bounty hunter and it had rained hard on Dec. 11, 2008, leaving the surface of the skull shiny.

Or perhaps it was the hands of God, parting the vines.

No, Dave - you're wrong. The area was not brush covered. There was a well-worn path into the woods.

Just look at the pictures and you'll see that the path is very well-worn. Whomever placed Caylee's body near that tree did not have to walk through dense weeds; unless the well-worn path was created AFTER Caylee was placed near the tree.

Why were people searching for Caylee just yards away? What do you know about the people who searched just yards away? Why were they searching there? Who 'tipped' them off?

    June 19, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterJanelle

Hi Janelle - Please take a look a my first video. I'll agree it's not very good, and I've improved since then, but it will give you an idea of what it looked like at the end of July. Remember, that video is a year later, in 2009, after the brush had been completely stripped by law enforcement and forensic experts.

By the way, Dominic Casey was searching an area that was not yards away. It was 175-200 feet east of the skull site.
