    A Daughter's Scorn; A Family Torn

What transpired in the courtroom yesterday, May 6? The outcome is that George and Cindy will be allowed to attend the entire trial, despite being witnesses. Why was the Rule of Sequestration waived in their case?

I dont get it. How is this "version of the truth" any different than all the other ones? The Nanny, Blanchard Park(Samantha), Jessie Grund, Roy Kronk, sexual abuse, Timer 55, ugly coping. There is only one, 1, version of the truth. After so many different story's how can anyone believe anything they say? The jury is going to laugh. It's a complete joke. And leonard Padilla's idea (LOL) that caylee drowned inb the pool and Casey took her dead body in to her room and hid the fact she was dead, and left the next day with her corpse. Bizarre. No reasonable person will believe that Casey has sat in jail for the last 3 years, coupled with her actions in the 31 days after caylee went missing, all the while being innocent and knew what happened all along but made up all these bizarre reasons for????? Why? She's covering for George? But she knows he did it, so made up all this stuff to cover for him? And sit in jail? Talk about a stretch.

And none of that explains why caylee was found the way she was.

I agree Beast that LP idea of what happened, was as far out there as they come. George says that he saw Caylee and Casey leave the house the day after Fathers Day. Even if that is a lie, which I think it may be, Caylee did not drown and Casey hid her body. I believe that Cindy and Casey had that very last fight on Fathers Day and Casey took Caylee, left the house and murdered her because she believed Cindy loved Caylee more than she loved her. This is one sick and twisted family. I do blame Cindy for not seeing what Casey had become and her part in Casey's final act, murdering her granddaughter.

No parent can be so perfect that nothing ever goes wrong in their family and with their children. I do not understand why every murderer's family is not brought to judgement by the public like the whole Anthony family have been if the way they are is the reason people murder. My children were never perfect, my parenting most certainly was never perfect, my grandparenting certainly is not perfect but we try in our own way at the time we may be dealing with our error in ways. I can only be thankful and thank God that we have never had to deal with such a horrible ordeal as so many are forced to do. If we are going to make everything right so this never happens again by taking all parenting and their familys apart and putting them back together the way we think they should be to make them better, meet with our approval, so children are safe from such demise, we have one hell of a job ahead because it can not be done with just our words of opinion on paper. Where can I help? Is it by molding all "others" life the way I think they should be, making them suitable to our society. Will never work. If and when people think alike we call it a cult, or an occult.

Im Glad J Perry ruled to let them attend court .As the defence is useing the side table the Anthonys will sit behind the prosecution wherever they sit in the courtroom.....Another great article Dave......

I had to really admire the Anthony's attorney. He got it right, and had law to back it up. For the first time I actually enjoyed watching a lawyer for the Anthony's push their case effectively. If this case has shown us anything, it's that all lawyers are not the same. Sure we know that but how often do we see it in action? This case and the Anthonys have gone through their share of lawyers. Some wanted the money, some the fame, some just wanted a client's ability to act on their advice. This one got it right where the parents are concerned. I'm not a betting person but an odds maker sure could make money on timing the first "boot" given to the grandparents for inappropriate gestures in the courtroom.

Cindy wanting to visit Casey right at the last minute like this has me wondering though. I mean they've protested but have stayed away at Baez' bidding or hers for almost 3 years now, so why this last minute try? They can see her after the trial. It seems to be George-related to me, or one more effort on Cindy's part to gain back control of her daughter's life/opinion/fear . I'm glad she was refused this morning.

Another thing I'm glad of. No jury selection notice was in the mail! You've got to wonder what's going through the mind of anyone requested to show up monday in any Fl county for jury duty. I read that Pinellas County might be it because there's a big todo going on with preparations down there. Like Judge Perry said - they can find out on their own. That seems to be the only place getting ready for a big jury selection.. even though other places like here in Jacksonville do that on a regular basis.

    Casey on Trial-Special

[edit...I just finished watching this Special and I am giving it a 9 and 1/2 out of a 10. You will not be disappointed. Kathi Belich would be a good one to make the opening statements for the prosecution. Bravo to WFTV for a job well done!]

Quick question, are they showing the jury questioning live???

<B>Not that I know of, missbrandyy37. I've never seen one live, either, so I doubt that this one will be any different.

I heard JP say that if the media that did not sign the agreement find out on their own where the jury selection is going to be from, that they could let it be known. Now since the agreement was declared null and void from the Appeals court, that would mean that anyone who finds out where it will be taking place can let it be known before Monday morning. I think it can easily be determined that any court house that is going through big changes and there are several hundred that have been given jury notices, that is where the jury selection is coming from. Any of you living in Florida would know better than us that don't if there are any other big cases going on in that county where those hundreds of notices went out and where the court house is making changes and holding their biggest court room. If there aren't any other big cases, then it can probably be said that is where it is. I believe that they are moving Casey to that county today.

Good morning Dave and everyone. I was watching the news yesterday when Cindy was at the jail hoping to see Casey. Why on earth would she think Casey would want to see her? She has not come to see her for 2 1/2 years so it would be pretty doubtful that she would want to see her now, two days before the trail starts. It would be the worst thing, if Cindy has not done the worst, to see Casey now just before the trial. They are so volatile that no good would come of it. I doubt Casey even reads her letters. It is pretty clear that Casey does not want to have anything to do with her family. I doubt that George will be able to handle all the testimony that is going to come out. That man is a tortured sole, he will never be the same. I wonder what keeps him going?
